 Marinara Sauce Ingredients:

 Tomato: 2 cups (chopped)

 Onion: 1 piece (medium size / finely chopped)

 Garlic: 2 cloves (mashed)

 Olive oil: 3 tablespoons

 Tomato paste: one tablespoon

 Oregano: a quarter of a teaspoon

 Basil: a quarter of a teaspoon

 Sugar: a quarter of a teaspoon

 Paprika: a quarter of a teaspoon

 Salt: a quarter of a teaspoon

 Black pepper: a quarter of a teaspoon

 Minced meat: 500 grams (fine)

 Onion: 1 piece (medium size / finely chopped)

 Salt: a pinch

 Black pepper: a pinch

 Nutmeg: a quarter of a teaspoon

 Parsley: 3 tablespoons (chopped)

 Parmesan cheese: a quarter cup (light / to decorate)

 How to prepare

 In a deep bowl, put the minced meat and add onions, parsley, salt, pepper, and nutmeg, then stir the ingredients well until you get a homogeneous mixture.

 Form medium and equal size balls from the meat mixture.

 Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat, then add the prepared meatballs and stir-fry for about 8-10 minutes, until tender.

 To prepare the sauce: Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat, add the onions and garlic, and sauté for a few minutes, until softened.

 Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, sugar, paprika, salt, and black pepper, stir the ingredients well, then leave the sauce on a low heat for 15 minutes, stirring from time to time, until it thickens.

 Add the fried meatballs over the sauce and stir well, and leave the mixture for 5 minutes on the fire.

 Pour the meatballs with marinara sauce into the serving dish, garnish with Parmesan cheese, and serve hot.
